Senior Living - A Critical Contributor to Successful Aging

In this session, Dr. Dilip Jeste, one of the preeminent thought leaders in the field of successful aging, will share recent research findings on the physical, psychological, and health-related impacts of aging.  Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the various components of successful aging and learn how to create an ideal environment for helping residents lead meaningful, healthy lives as they age.  This session will delve into wisdom and aging, the plasticity of the aging brain, and strategies for successful aging, and consider the work of UC San Diego's Center for Health Aging is currently doing in these areas.
